This peaceful, nearly-200-year-old light may only be 31 feet tall, but history buffs from across the country flock to this beautiful locale to observe a true American-made marvel. Marshall Point Lighthouse was featured in the 1994 classic film, Forrest Gump, gaining instant fame among history buffs.
